Pastor: David Sandifer
David Sandifer came to St Alban's in February 2016. He previously served as a pastor in churches in the U.S. and in Australia. David holds a PhD from Cambridge university, where he studied the way that evangelicals helped to bring about cultural change in early nineteenth-century Britain. It was there that he met he wife, Cathie, and they have two children together, Annabelle and Josiah.
David is passionate about seeing God's people grow in their love for Jesus and in Christlikeness. He loves living the Blue Mountains, and is particularly fond of the mountain mist and drizzle. When he is not serving at St Alban's, he enjoys reading, playing his guitar, and wrestling with his children.
Cathie is a native of the Blue Mountains and leads the children's ministry at St Alban's. She is praying for God to renew His people in the upper mountains, and for many more in our community to come to know the love of Christ. When she is not juggling ministry and being a mum, she loves drinking coffee, bush walks, and painting.
