Current Sermon Series

Life in the King’s Kingdom
Matthew 19–22 | Term 1 | St Alban’s

What does life look like when Jesus is truly King?

In this section of Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus teaches what it means to belong to His kingdom — not just in belief, but in everyday life. We’ll hear Him speak about marriage and singleness, wealth, humility, authority, grace, and wholehearted devotion. These chapters challenge comfortable religion and call us into real relationship with the King.

As we continue our journey through Matthew (now in our sixth section), we’re invited to see that the kingdom of heaven reshapes our priorities, our values, and our hearts.

Come and discover what life in the King’s Kingdom really looks like.

Ash Wednesday Service – 8am | 18 February 2026

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent — a season of reflection, repentance, and renewed dependence on Jesus. This simple and meaningful service helps us turn our hearts toward God as we remember both our need for grace and the hope we have in Christ.

The service will include prayer, Scripture, a short message, and the imposition of ashes as a sign of humility and trust in God’s mercy.

Whether Lent is a long-held tradition for you or something new, you are warmly invited to begin this journey with us as we prepare our hearts for Easter.

Arvo Club and Leura Youth

Every Friday Arvo during term our primary and high school students gather at church together to play some games, eat some food and open God’s word together in a welcoming community.

“As a newcomer at St Albans we have felt so loved and embraced by the whole church community. My children often ask in the week “is it Kids Church day yet?” because they love coming! Joining a small group has blessed me with great friends to do life with.” Rachel
